Following the success of last years extremely well-attended event the organisers have this year lined up another excellent night out to mark the end of a successful season at BRFC. This years dinner will take place in the comfortable surroundings of Downpatrick Cricket Club and promises to be a night to remember.

The format will remain the same with the player of the year trophies for each team presented after a three-course meal and followed by dancing until the early hours!

The organisers wish to appeal to all club members to support this event as there appears to be a misconception that this is a night for players only. It is more a celebration of the clubs continued success than anything else and the presentations are brief. Captains are encouraged to marshall their troops and see off the campaign in style while the very least the players and supporters can do is treat their wives and partners to an overdue night out!

A new award will be presented to the best U-18 player this year and this has been kindly sponsored by the Stevenson family in memory of Johnny Stevenson, while club sponsor Abbey Insurance has sponsored a new trophy for the clubman of the year.

The event will be seated in tables of ten maximum. Bookings can be made in tens or individually through James Kirk on 07966143184 or Ray McCavery on 07990848968. Money can be paid into the subs box behind the bar if required. All bookings paid by the 15th March will receive a discount of £5.
