Hinch Sixes played Ballymena Fives at home in the McCambley Cup. A tremendous match ended up at 0 - 0 despite some great play from both sides. Ballymena's back row, outhalf and second centre all played well, while for the Hinch, Willie Dodd, Raymie Jordan and Mark Magowan all stood out. A replay next week in Ballymena will decide the outcome after 80 minutes and then 20 minutes of extra time failed to get a score. Both teams missed 3 penalties each and near the end Mervyn Tate had a try on the line but the referee missed the grounding.
