Hinch Sixes travelled to Carrickfergus on Saturday oto play their 4's.

Hinch started brightly and scored with a fluent move in the left corner with good running from Larkin finished off by Bleakley.

Unfortunately that was as good as it got as Carrick got into their stride and started to drive up the field with good use of the rolling Maul. Carrick scored two unconverted tries in the first half and followed up in the second half with another four.

Hinch tried gamely but could not stem the flow. Final score was  30 - 7  to Carrick. Team - Broom, D.Dodd Jnr, W.Jordan, Carlisle, Patterson, A.Dodd, R.Jordan, Prentice, Reid, Spratt, Adams, Abbott, Larkin, Bleakley, Magowan, Mckelvey.
