Hinch Sixes were at home to league leaders Ballyclare 5’s. Ballyclare won the toss and played uphill first. The Hinch played well and kept Clare at bay for most of the half. A try came for Ballyclare after sucking in the Hinch defence and their centre just about got over the line despite being tackled be Willie Dodd.

The second half was all Ballyclare and their impressive full back ran riot scoring three tries coming into the line at pace. The only Hinch reply was a penalty goal

although an impressive run from Raymie Jordan almost resulted in a try in the left corner. Final score was 3-29 to Ballyclare.
