Evening At The Races
Following the AIB League fixture against Bective Rangers there will be AN EVENING AT THE RACES. The first race will be run at 5.30pm with each horse costs £10.00. There are great prizes so the racing will add a bit of fun to the after match proceedings.
AIB League – Next 3 Games Are Vital
The AIB League is about to enter the most important phase of the season. Following the disappointment at Gibson Park at the end of January it is essential that these three February fixtures are victories. The first will take place this Saturday at Ballymacarn Park when the Hinch will host Dublin 4 side Bective Rangers. The Dubliners have had a mixed season so far mainly due to the fact that some key players were missing because of injury. Results in recent outings would suggest that these players have returned to action so a tough encounter will be expected.

The following week the Hinch will visit College Park in Dublin to play Trinity. This venue must be one of the most picturesque and historic grounds in Ireland the only problem is the quality of the pitch which will have little or no grass on it at this time of year, and if it is wet it will be a mud bath. Trinity are also going well and will provide a stern test and will want to use their home advantage to gain a victory.
These two fixtures will be followed by the rearranged De La Salle game which although it has to be confirmed it is likely to be played in Dublin on the 23rd February the kick off time has yet to be agreed as Ireland are playing Scotland at Croke Park in a 5.00pm kick off.
