Hinch Sixes travelled to the Dub for a league game against Queens’s fours. Hinch started brightly and took the game to Queens. Some good link play between the forwards and backs led to a try in the corner by outhalf Carl Larkin who looped round in the line.
A further try came for Davy Martin who took a penalty at pace from 15 yards out to burst through and over for a score under the posts. Conversion from Larkin made the score at half time 0-12 to the Hinch. Early on in the second half a penalty was kicked to the corner by Larkin and from the lineout Hinch rumbled forward and drove over the line.
The ball was touched down by Ricky Taylor for his first score for the Hinch since coming back to play a couple of years ago. The conversion made it 0-19.
