| Hinch 6's travelled to the house of pain last Saturday to try & do the double over Malone 4's. From the kick off hinch were able to put Malone on the back foot with the forwards dominating the scrums & line outs. This pressure made Malone infringe & with the resulting penalty Wilson put 3 points on the board.
With Malone on the back foot Bishop was able to get his backs moving with a well rehearsed move that saw Ben Wilson come in from full back & pass to Shaw on the wing who beat the covering defence to score in the corner. Wilson converts.. Malone soon managed to get back into the game with their out half able to score. Well according to the referee it was. Hinch stretched their lead with another well worked move to see Wilson slice through the defence to score. Next to have a go was Andy Simpson who managed to fool at least 8 Malone men & slip through un touched, but after all his hard work he decided not

to score which was easier than to get bundled into touch. Again with forward pressure on the Malone line out the back were able to get moving with Keatly & Martin combining in the centre to see Sneddon over in the corner..
Apart from a minor disagreement between the teams at the end of the second half there was little to report.. Well apart from Bulk taking a 2 point lead over Hughies in the race for a case of beer.. Bulk gained another 1/2 point after Hughies dived for the score but then to realise it was only the 5 meter line..final score Hinch 20-5 Malone |
