The Club Council would like to congratulate a number of senior players who have made a further step in their careers. Ed O’Donoghue won an Ireland A cap on Friday night, he came on as a replacement when the Ireland Wolfhounds defeated Scotland A at Ravenhill.
Nevin Spence continued with his Ireland U20 career when he faced the Italian U20 side at Dubarry Park, Athlone on Friday evening. The Hinch centre has just returned from a three-month injury lay-off, and celebrated his return to the Irish jersey by running in a try to help his side to an emphatic 39-0 victory.
Willie Faloon has returned to action after a shoulder injury, and he along with Paddy McAllister played for the |

Ulster Ravens against the Leinster A side in Navan on Thursday evening, the Ravens recording an impressive 0-9 victory, and both Hinch men gave a good account of themselves.
Willie has now signed a full professional contract with Ulster Rugby, while Nevin Spence and Paddy McAllister have both signed development contracts for next season.
Not only is this great news for these players, but their success reflects well on the Hinch as a rugby club, proving that Ballymacarn Park is a place where young ambitions and talented rugby players can develop a pathway to a professional career. |
